he latest Gen 11 version of the Pure Drive Team 2025 redefines ease of play with its lightweight design, effortless power, and spin-friendly targeting. Weighing just 285g strung, this racket offers a more user-friendly experience compared to the standard Pure Drive, making it ideal for intermediate players seeking confidence in their game.
With its explosive power, this racket allows players to hit at a greater pace, keeping opponents on the defensive. For 2025, Babolat has enhanced comfort by introducing an upgraded NF2 Tech, which integrates flax fibres into the throat and head to reduce vibrations—a welcome addition for a racquet with a stiff beam.

Our view of the 285g Pure Drive Team model:
The 285g weight and the 100 square inch head size are the most user-friendly combination for those players who prefer a slightly lighter frame than the standard model. Would appeal to club players looking for the easiest racket to use.
Range Technology :
-
Lower RA Stiffness: Improves comfort without sacrificing the powerful, connected feel.
-
NF² Tech: Features flax fibres in the throat to dampen vibrations, delivering a smoother, more comfortable hitting experience.
-
FSI Power: Maximizes energy transfer for effortless power and spin.
-
HTR System: Reinforces the hoop to enhance stability and reduce frame wobble on off-centre hits, ensuring more control and consistency.
Our View of the Range:
The Pure Drive range is one of the classic racket ranges of all time. It has been through several re-designs over the years while maintaining the overall characteristics of the racket. The latest Gen 11 models are an improvement on the previous models because they have a softer feel with the flax fibres in the throat of the rackets, which makes them more arm-friendly. The other main difference is that the frames are less stiff, which again improves comfort without affecting the feel that better players demand in a racket.
